I am many things to many people... wife, mother, daughter, friend, workmate, uber-driver, personal shopper, committee member, and so on. Depending on what's going on and who I am with depends very much on what "hat" I wear. But to me I am just ME. I am happy in my own company and don't need to be around lots of people... I actually prefer one-on-one or smaller groups to crowds.
To recharge my batteries so to speak, I will often have a nap on the couch when I get home from work. I will also spend time with my nose in a book before going to work and most nights for a little bit before going to sleep. When not working or doing stuff for others I will be scrapping. I have really emersed myself in this hobby for the last 20 years, so much so that it is now a way of life. I take photos of all sorts of things (from what we are doing to even the flowers in our garden or what we ate) and then scrap those memories on a layout. I find lots of happiness in being creative.
But I think the thing that makes me ME the most is my relationship with God. Being a Christian since the age of 7 I can't imagine living my life any other way than by being rooted in Christ and trusting Him for every thing. My day starts with my quiettime, continues with praise and worship songs playing on my phone whilst driving to and from work, and then saying prayers as I go to sleep. I even wake up in the night with a praise song going round and round in my head, or a prayer on my lips if there is something of concern on my mind. So, connecting to me is actually connecting to God as He lives in me and makes me ME. I am happy with who I am.
