Blind Scrap: Finding Joy-
It would have need to be a book to make a record of what brings us joy, could make it about how we rather shop for kitchen stuff than clothes or purses or shoes...but at this point, with my health the way it is...the pure truth is: Staying Home brings me so much joy!
Journaling reads:
right now, these days? finding joy is staying home, coking with Sarita and being able to stay in the kitchen without major pain, sitting in the living room which we did renovation in 2008, all on our own (apart from Gary helping to put up one shelving unit and some wall paper) when Sarita was 12, (and so very eager! that very memory is Joy) we completely changed the whole room, shopped and did it for less than half price of the cheapest estimate they had given us professionally...is scrapping in my iMac, doodling in the books that Vivi (Nemla) sends me or Sarita buys for me, the great thing of iMessage, FaceTime & WhatsApp that gives me the JOY of talking to some of you in real time, from home, the view from our kitchen patio with all the green of our gardens....and, of course, eating, especially if it is a homemade from scratch feijoada completa. . . . of course along side is music, art in all forms,
friendships, my mum, my cousins, our whole family, blood and chosen one, but staying home is the biggest joy of all right now, it may change soon, but for now, staying home it is!!!!!
