How beautiful Liz! Fantastic extractions on the beautiful pin and necklace. The photo of your Grandparents, showing your Grandmother wearing the necklace is wonderful and such a treasure! Even if it is not real amber it is very beautiful and such a treasure. The pin is exquisite, and how exciting his first nuggets of gold were put in this little gold pan. I love the additional journaling of the Black Hill gold.. the wild grapes and leaves here on the pin are so detailed and dainty! Definitely a treasure and I do hope someone does change their mind and be interested in family history. This story, the pin, the necklace, and how your Grandma put her "foot down" is terrific!
