What a sweet photo of your folks and heartfelt journaling. It is a hard but necessary task you have taken upon yourself and I wish you well in it. It's sad to know that siblings are not on the same page. I appreciate your recognition of our need to thank God for everything. You can be assured that He is with you throughout this difficult time.
Oh they don’t call it the sandwich generation for nothing. We are needed by so many, but can only do so much by ourselves. I pray that your trip is successful and that your siblings will lean on each other rather than causing anyone to be upset. That is fantastic that you can set up cameras and you have some support there from your brother. Oh, and It’s okay to be miffed at missing challenges - you aren’t being selfish, it’s just something that you miss because your life isn’t “normal” or “routine” at this moment.
