Journaling reads:
This sums up the 1970’s pretty well. Small, skinny tops, tied at the waist, bell-bottomed jeans, sandals, long hair. John and I met in 1972 and were an immediate couple. This photo, taken in 1978, in Ellison Bluff County Park in Door County, Wisconsin. One of our favorite places to vacation, and it all started in the 1970’s.

While I worked 40 hours per week, these were my comfort clothes, jeans, a top and sandals. No worries about weight, no worries about getting sick, no worries about getting older, just having fun.

Love this! You're right, it pretty much does sum up the dress of the 70's! Love this nod to the 70's and the retro bloom tops it off! I'm a child of the 70's too, and still sleep on a waterbed... not sure what that says about me. :giggle
