2022-The-Necklace

My friend Dennis has been almost deaf, since his ears were were damaged during unprotected target practice with his father at the age of 9... Told by medical professionals and teachers, alike that he was DEAF! GET USED TO IT!!! He did just that... We have been friends since the fall of 2017 His hearing loss made any communication difficult and very frustrating... He maintained he had the best hearing aids that Costco sold and there was nothing could be done about the situation as told to him for over 60 years by the professionals.... Well my personality refused to accept that nothing could
be done and prior to our tip to the coast I
harangued on him, until he agreed to visit the
premier Hearing aid place in Redding. Even I did not really expect what happened! The technician, placed the same brand as Costco had sold him in his ears, but the next level up. He then walked behind Dennis for something and spoke on his way back.. Dennis had no idea he was behind him, but his head snapped up in attention... He head heard!!!! I was watching in total shock!!! Then he made some molds saying that would help more, because they push all the extra air out of your ears... and it was even better!!!.. Then he proceeded to show us a bit of real magic! The item pictured is a microphone, worn by whoever his companion might be, that sends their voice right to his ears... We were finally able to carry on a normal con versa ton... Being able to talk like normal people was such a gift and made our trip so amazing... We called the micro phone THE NECKLACE!!! Since he has returned home to Reno , he has found he can plug it to the headphone jack on the TV and that has made hearing the TV so much easier for him also!!!!i
