@FarrahJobling LOL! I don't think these would be very tasty, not fattened up like commercial turkeys would be. And I'm a vegetarian, probably one of the reasons they feel safe hanging around.
Awesome photo of the turkeys. Are they nasty like the ones in my town? Some people can barely leave their front door because they are so territorial. You are right about not eating these, they are gamey and thin. They are lucky you are a vegetarian.

@bcgal00@trekmom Thanks for your kind words. These don't seem very nasty. They are more timid than territorial. They stare at me from a distance, but when I put food out for them, they come running to the feeder. Pretty comical to watch.
