the journaling :
We always love cooking together, since Sarita was 2 years old, and in this quarantine we have upped our creativity as well as making our usual, love her culinary talent, another thing I kinda got right in educating her!!!
made the page on Thursday, the photos are from some of the plates Sarita has been creating or we put together together
top left: our basil plant and red peppers ready to go in the oven to roast, then we put them in a glass jar and last for 14 days, delish to put in sandwiches or toast or whatever combinations!
top right: feijoada (Brazilian most typical dish of black beans stewed in different cuts of meat from different cuts of animals) with "farofa", a side thing we seem to use with every dish,is made of manioc/cassava flour friend with different things, this one is the one we buy ready, so no bits, sometimes we add fried banana , some people add meats, etc. (not terribly healthy but tastes like home...

bottom left: one of the pj trousers I bought recently and my diary
then: sesame chicken with white rice (from Pinterest recipe)
and salmon fillets with tender stem broccoli, asparagus and samphire (a discovery of Sarita last year, I had never heard about before!)

      oh my- this is a delight for the eyes! all the dishes look fabulous, i only wish i could smell and taste them! i wouldn't know which to take a bite of first! your pjs look comfy too! beautifully scrapped page Cynthia!
