- I don't think I can clearly articulate my thoughts of this past year, but this is an attempt.
The year 2020 was a trickster. It was a tester,
it was a tormenter at times
But mostly it was a teacher.
Like, an “Open your books to page 285 for our
Review ” kind of teacher. When everything pauses, it is a time to reflect,
A time to remember to celebrate, and be grateful
for the brightness of light found in each day, regardless
of the darkness that seems to rule. 2020 was
a time to question everything, as not everyone was telling the truth
nor was everything as it seemed. 2020 brought a Trojan Horse
into our lives and if you were discerning enough, you could trace
its pattern and see what was really going on within its walls.
Much evil was planned, and much failed. But gratefulness
watered the life & celebration paved the way for a new era-
one that I am confident in and eagerly awaiting to see
the brightness of its dawning. We “see through
a glass darkly” but soon we shall see clearly!
