SUN Dick & I finished up 1st Zoom retreat - Scott came by / MON had an online JSJ session- made breakfast with the sun streaming in so I used the Inuvik mug / TUES finalized Jim’s order for Wegmans / WEDS easy Wegmans pickup, not much out of stock / THURS cancelled Showtime post Homeland - excellent!!! - more Zoom meetings / FRI changed sheets but not time to switch to summer duvet, still cold - Donny comes by & we have a nice chat & I meet Sammy the dog who wants to go inside! / SAT Zoom - then Breakfast Club Zoom - Dick had Peapod pickup, again lots missing - 1st Zoom chat with Lynn / ALL week I did the normal load of laundry a day, made InstantPot polenta-A+ & my 1st sheet pan roast chicken n’cauli, Dick loved it. Shortbread failure but we still eat it.

fabulous PL page. The photos of your garden are so pretty. Do you cook with the chive flowers? They give a lovely hint of onion/chive flavour to a pasta sauce.

Once again you have done a great job of documenting the details of your week. I love the photo strip on the right with the flowers and brick walk. I laughed at your shortbread "failure but we still eat it." Truth in journaling. Yeah for you.

@flowersgal I don't bake much but when I do what might have gone out to the birds still seems good enough these days without the option of going to certain stores or bakeries for special treats.
