What a catching title and love the large "Portugal".. It is a really cool font you used.. those stripes up the side are really catching as well and I love the way you framed the photo.. The way you have the "take a Hike.. really flows into your photo, and I really want to walk down that store ally way.. I love going to other countries and seeing these interesting ally ways... Beautifully scrapped and journaled Marilyn! Thanks for taking us along for the hike

@cfile Thanks, Christa! I actually do enjoy magazine styles, I love the graphic, no shadow approach. It is a fun change. I took a peek at the challenge at 3:45 when I woke (sigh...) and didn't have a clue as to what to do. Then I thought of travel pics, thought of street shots that typically wouldn't be showcased. I actually had three different ones of Portugal that I pulled in, was going to use all three, then I decide on just the one. I love how the yellow paper is almost an identical match to the yellow in my building.

@mcurtt I had a hard time too... then I said I am doing the boxty and was so glad I found the Paislee stuff in my stash! LOL Ugh us up at the wee hours of the morning.. I was up at 3 again. (I was awake at 1am but forced myself to stay there!)

@CharlotteM Thanks! When we were in Portugal, we stayed in Estoril, right by the large casino (but no gambling). We did go up to Cascais, we loved the surf as well. I have a number of layouts in the gallery here featuring the view and waves.
