Journaling (141 words):
My brother and sister-in-law called us at the beginning of February. I hadn’t seen him in almost 20 years. He lives down in Florida, and he doesn’t travel up north while we don’t travel south. Anyway, they suggested a family trip. After a bit of discussion, we had seven of us on board, my brother Joe, Ray & his wife, cousin Rick & Sarah, John & me. Joe wanted to do a road trip, he would drive the two of us. Ray would drive north and meet us in Charleston. Rick and Sarah, traveling from Texas, would also join up. We were leaving on April 18th, we’d be back home sometime in the first week of May. Obviously none of this happened. Instead, we are all sheltering in place, have cancelled our vacation plans, waiting for safer times. It will happen... --Marilyn 2020
