Did you got to CAI during the Andy Warhol's exhibit? I can't remember if this one was there on their regular AW area. I love Mr. Warhol, my family not so much. I think it's all the colors that are thrown at you that I love!

I like the way you framed the top photo and the wonderful clustering with the paint brush and the plum. That green background really makes the whole layout just jump out from the gallery.

@Dalis @trekmom @Angela Toucan @flowersgal Thank you for your sweet comments. :-) The original screenprint is the top one in the column. The other two are my fabrications.

@Dalis, No we were in Chicago because I had won a $600 gift card for the Four Seasons. I spent it on one night there, LOL! I would have loved to have seen the Andy Warhol exhibit. They had a few pieces of his there, the other one I remember is his Mona Lisa (x4) on one canvas.

@mcurtt Yes, they have a few pieces of him. I have been at the museum maybe 20 times in the 20+ years I have been here. Most of my visits were when I was studying in the city. I HAVE NEVER SEEN THE ENTIRE MUSEUM! LOL!!!!! My eyes just glaze over and I can be in the same room forever! LOL!!!!!!

@mcurtt
$600 is nothing in this city! I know a place I wish I could afford to have dinner at and my check would probably be $300!

This is genius! I loved Liz, so I especially love these pictures. Great way to display the three different tonal prints. Warhol was like no other!

@Dalis We were on the 33rd floor, a beautiful view from our corner room, overlooking the lake on one side, the city on the other. We could have gotten a cheaper room, 2 nights, but the view wouldn't have been as nice and we'd still have to pay around $100 out of pocket. So we splurged, then trucked down 1/2 block and had a room for 3 more nights at a little over $100/night. As it was, at the Four Seasons, we still ended up paying over $100. I grew up in the city, I should know better, but I've been away from it for way too long and I get shell-shocked from the prices.
