A current rage on Instagram is a Japanese lady who does crewel embroidery in a tiny format... approximately an inch in diameter. Her creations are detailed and vivid in color. This challenge was to use he work as inspiration for a page... I like being literal! The piece I chose is in the circle
Everything by NBK and Rachel Jeffries and Rebecca...
I read your description, and my heart leaped! I seriously love crewel work, and am spell bound at this idea of miniatures! That you took it literal, is exactly how I love it!
I also have to admit, that skyline for Anchorage threw me too! We left Alaska in 1973, lol, things do change!
@AnneofAlamo Thanks so much for your words... If you go to the beginning page for the Nov Inspiration Challenge you will find more about this lady and a link to her Instagram page... https://the-lilypad.com/forum/threads/november-inspiration-challenge.66746/ enjoy! BTW the photo was taken from Flat Top a park that overlooks the Anchorage Cook Inlet area.... we lived in Valdez 1975-81 and Wasilla 1981-7
Amazing! And to include her image was so clever! I love it! The colors, texture and image are stunning! I'm so glad you joined in! Beautifully done and scrapped!
