i love the bingo card stamping and orientation with your 'where i stand' photo and the rich bakgrd colour is great with that carpet- he definitely sounds like a cooperative partner in crime and good sport for sure!
You two are the luckiest couple to have each other. And what is a "Thimble Meeting?
I like the red matching the red in the photo. It makes the photo pop!
I love your photo, your page, and the story. I like your paper choices and how you cropped one small to go under your photo. Great take on the slow scrap!
first off I adore your page Marilyn... how cute that John stepped in to take the "from where I stand" photo with you! I love the patterned papers you chose and what a terrific page with your journaling.. absolutely love! Thanks for playing along with the xl slow scrap!
@bonnenuit Thanks. I'm so sorry... I didn't even think about it. We probably won't have another meeting in that area for a year or two. But I WILL try to remember!
@Electra Thanks! FYI... I collect thimbles, mostly the gold & sterling kind. It is something to look for at antique stores. And I do have souvenir thimbles as well, they don't take up too much space in your luggage. I belong to a group called the Dairyland Thimblers (based out of Wisconsin). We try to meet a couple of times a year at a member's home to chat, have lunch, chat some more, show & tell & always a thimble presentation, generally some sort of slide show we watch on someone's TV. I also belong to Thimble Collectors International (from the name, obviously an international group). They promote the education of thimbles. I haven't counted lately, am a bit disorganized in my recent purchases, but I probably have close to 3000 of them. Not all gold & sterling (I wish), but a good number of them.
