The neighbor creates this Department 56 village every two years. He spends months putting it together and keeps it up for two seasons. December 2018 was a new layout. They invite friends and neighbors in for a holiday viewing, the first Sunday afternoon in December.
I started with Fiddle-dee-dee's Star of Wonder 2 template and used Kristin Aagard's Home for the holidays from December BYOC.
