This is positively precious. You must be going through your old photos. I am going to have to scraplift the way you have layered your papers, I really like it! In fact, I like everything about this!
@Electra Thank you! Actually I was able to scan these just recently. A relative on DH's side of the family (who we just found out about thru Ancestry DNA) sent my mother-in-law a bunch of photos, photos of people she could recognize, photos including her own father. We were all thrilled! I have done a few layouts using this group of pics, at least five so far. They are just precious!
I love how you used the frame! I never get creative with them. The paper overlapping the bottom of the photo is so perfect! Love that little orange heart, too.
Love your creative layering of the papers and frame! Gorgeous page and your photo reminds me that I too came into some old family photos that I need to scan and scrap.
This is fantastic, Marilyn!! I love all of your vintage photos. This one really stands out because your page really focuses on the picture. Simple and stunning. Congrats on the above pick!
This is so completely wonderful! I love the composition, the bold pattern peeking out at the bottom, the simplicity of the ornamentation (I assume it was the speed scrap assignment but you pulled it off and made it look perfect!). I will definitely be pinning this for future scraplift inspiration!
