This photo makes me smile. We went to Sam’s Club and you wanted a churro. So, I handed you the money, and told you that you could go buy one. You said ok, and walked over. You waited in line patiently, although nervously. You aren’t confident in asking someone for assistance. Normally, you balk, and refuse. But we’ve been working at it. I encourage you to talk to other adults. It might be unforgettable, for you, but I know it’s an important skill. I was very impressed at you walking over to wait. I was so proud that you were happy to walk over and order by yourself. It’s a big step for you, and I hope it’s a change in the right direction. Luckily, I walked over to supervise because apparently I haven’t taught you to wait for change! You paid $5.07 for a $1.07 churro, and started to walk away as soon as you got your churro. Silly boy.
