For the MOC4 Challenge, Day 6
The lower square of my layout is an album cover. The top panel represents liner notes. I've attached a tag to the cover to do a bit of journaling.
Liner notes read:
Introducing the newest release by singer/songwriter/performer extraordinaire – JACK THE DOG. Nine of his greatest hits, including the all-time favorite, “Momma Don’t Get No Sleep No More”. When asked about “Momma…” JACK THE DOG humbly says, “Yes, it is true. I’ve been waking Momma up, I admit it. I try to begin her day at around 4 in the morning, sometimes earlier. Yes, Dad is available, but Momma is my go-to."
JACK’s songs can be poignant, funny, bluesy, folksy, but always spoken from the heart. His massive popularity is attributed to his song-writing ability, taken from his own life experiences. Critics have often compared him to “Doggie” Dylan.
Nine classics, the best of the best – Limited to 4000 pressings on 180 gram vinyl.
The tag reads: Where I am right now, living with DH and an aging dog named Jack, who was 13 in November. Luckily, because of my early wake-up calls, I now I have an extra 2-3 hours in my waking day, more time to work on the Month of Challenges and my art. This layout may be a bit silly, but that is what sleep-deprivation will do for you… This is my life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I hope Jack continues to wake me up in the wee hours of the morning for many years to come.
Hopefully you can read the titles to his nine songs.
