Journaling reads:
Tea - my beverage of choice, what I love to sip in the early hours of the a.m., in the dark, before everyone wakes. My love affair with tea - strong, black English tea, began with a trip out to the Pacific Northwest in 1998.
We went to High Tea at the Empress Hotel in Victoria, BC, and I’ve never looked back. It was such a fun and formal event, plus black tea, with milk and sugar in it, was more than I could even hope for. I had always been a coffee drinker, but that experience changed me forever. After searching for the elusive perfect tea, I’ve settled on PG Tips for my brand of choice. Several years ago, I discovered the benefits of eating a keto lifestyle, so it goes without saying that I’ve introduced more fat into my tea. Bullet-proof coffee for the coffee drinkers turned into my version of bullet-proof tea.
PG Tips brewed forever to make it as strong as possible, adding to it a dollop of coconut oil, a dab of red palm oil, a slab of organic butter, a teaspoon of xylitol and topping it all with heavy whipping cream. It is luscious and dreamy! Be still my heart!
