Soaps in Brazil are hyper high level , the Rede Globo (channel that runs the country LOL) that is their icon in the heart..85% of the whole Brazilian population watches "novelas", and especially the one at 8pm, generally (or at least it was in my times, I think the quality has fallen a lot now) the novelas used to teach people stuff, history and things like Leucemia, cancer treatments or current affairs stuf, but anyway, the thing here is about how much I love them, how Brasil in a whole stops when a soap is coming to an end (we have them for about 6 months, the story has a begining, then they strech and go into many of the characetrs and then there is a climax and the end- Then they bring a completely different one, different actors, different plot)
The one thing Brasil has massively, is the fashion trends that novelas start...and in here am telling of how when this girl, Lidia Brondi, was Solange in this soap called Vale Tudo (Everything goes) started the red hair trend....after 2 month of the soap that saw her with red hair, 50% of the females of Brazil had red hair too, and the hairdressers were mad trying to achieve that shade of red (was awesome) I used to watch entire soaps online, but a few months ago, the Globo tv made an agreement with YouTube, is not allowed to upload globo's novelas now

there is another place that has escaped their eye,I wont even mention so not jinx it LOL)
