2009: Mar del Plata by Train

The photos are from a trip we did from the capital of Buenos Aires (Argentina) to Mar Del Plata, one of the highest touristic attractions in the coast, to visit a dear dear friend we had not seen each other for 24 years!!! we took the train, and when we boarded, we couldn't believe our eyes, was like stepping into the time machine and being in one of Agatha Christie's Poirot's trains! the seats are velvet, and the bathroom looked more like a theater dressing room, with velvet red curtains and seats, even a dresser!!! The restaurant carriage was also something from the 1920's...not quiet the Orient Express...but an amazing trip (especially if you think we paid around £5 each!!!)!!!! TFL!!!!
