Scraplifted this one of Lynn's. I think we were around the same age.

I'm thinking that I must have been about nine or ten here.
I know I did NOT like getting bangs but they were the style of
Mamie Eisenhower & my mother thought they looked so good.
I still had my long thick hair in a ponytail but the bangs had to
go as they curled up in the hot humid weather. ugh Bad choice.

I had really long gsur too and then when I was 6 mom cut mine short.. I still have the braid lol.. she never gave me bangs though.. love your page your journaling of your memory and this sweet lift!
