In this challenging year, it’s often hard to get over the restrictions, the fears, the worries, the ugliness and see the things that can still bring us happiness and JOY. This year it’s rarely big things like European vacations or dinners out or even visiting family in other states. It has reminded me to find the JOY in the daily. This photo sums up an hour in one day.
* I have a car to drive
* It finally rained hard after too many dry days
* I can get books from my local library
* Most everyone here wears a mask
* I can vote
Thank you for exercising your right to vote, and thank you for wearing a mask while doing so. This is an awesome page: love that subtly-patterned grey background paper.
I love the positive tone of your journaling. A good lesson learned to appreciate the things we have rather than focusing on and complaining about what we don't have. Love the photo and the gray background with the floral underneath.
