I love how you have accented the gold with the selective coloring in this layout. I was astonished to see that you had been traveling during this pandemic. Glad you had a safe journey and DH enjoyed some time biking.

I too love the tone of this page, Maureen. The background, the touches of gold to accent the blk and wht photos are just so perfect. I think what strikes me most is the beautiful simplicity of your design.

Definitely LOVE the selective coloring here. And I'm a big fan of yellow/gold and black. I also used that color for the inspiration challenge. :-) And now that I think about it, those were my HS colors.

ohhhh wow to this!!!!! I just recently started to loose my fear for the yellow in everything... I think maybe because the stage superstition which everywhere in the world I work, performers respect... anyway, this is such a perfect use of the colors!!!!!
LOVE your selected color editing, the elegance here is the signature of all your pages.... beautiful, amazingly clean and always the best memory keeping!!!!!!!
