Journal: Normally, I would write here about how magnificent the tree is in the lobby of the Grand Floridian. Instead, I'm going to talk about Richard, a Disney legend in his own right. At 91, he would stand at the entrance to the hotel, greeting every guest that would pass. We were lucky enough to stand and talk with him for quite a bit of time before continuing on our way. It was the last time we got to talk to him. He'll be greatly missed.

awe... that's so cool that you got a last photo with Richard. I've always dreamed of staying at the Grand Floridian. Maybe some day... we usually go to Disneyland, but have stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge once when we were at Disney World.
