18.Goodbye-Colo

This was NOT what I had planned when I picked the layout to scraplift. I was going to do a light airy layout featuring a flower just now blooming in a pot in our dining room. Then I saw the front page of today's newspaper and my plans changed. It was with a heavy heart that I did this tribute to a grand old dame. She was special to this city and special to her kind. God rest, Colo.

Goodbye Colo
The oldest known gorilla and the first to ever be born under human care passed away in her sleep at the Columbus Zoo early Tuesday.
