What honest journaling, Cath! I admire the way you balanced the light colors (symbolizing the happy side) with the dark colors (symbolizing the depression).
So sad to read you are on a downwise spiral Cath
It's the ilness of this century: too much to do, too much expecting of yourself.
I believe the old ways were not that bad at all, but it's the struggle to find a balance. Anyways, I love your scrapping, it's always telling a story and I feel like it helps you with your emotions!
I love your scrapping. It makes me want to send hugs -- or a listening ear. It takes me back to my dark days and I feel your pain. You express it well, and the fact that you are creating even in the darkness is so good. There are brighter days ahead but I know right now that seems like forever away. Keep expressing and making great pages. And know that often I'm so awed by your page I forget to leave comments as I deal with what it brings up in me.
You just need to try to see every morming like what it is, a gift to you and to enjoy it! XOXO. btw. love the division and how you scrapped this.
You expressed this so eloquently. I can relate 100% and I applaud you for capturing the darkness so perfectly... I think it is amazing that you can see there were better times which gives hope for the future - when you lose that knowledge and depression takes over fully you forget those times... There is hope. In the meantime I think this is brilliant and poignant and so raw. Thanks for sharing it with us.
