14.-Making-Dog-Treats

My Crested Yorkie rescue pup, Pennie, is very picky about her dog treats. Most of the commercially-prepared ones didn’t suit. Finally, I found something she liked: sweet potato sticks! Unfortunately, shortly after discovering this, there was a huge recall of these treats due to safety concerns at the Chinese source. I immediately stopped buying dog treats and started making them myself. The little bit of time and effort is well worth the peace of mind knowing EXACTLY what goes in to her treats. I’ve expanded my repertoire to include “egg training treats” (egg, bacon, cheese) and mini dog bones (basically baby food and flour.)
