Living on the outskirts of our town has great benefits. When Mom says, “Go out and play!” means out in the desert. The boys can explore for hours. They recently discovered fossil hunting and are fast becoming rock hounds. The abundance of space is pure wonderful. The exploring is a dusty and dirty job. They come back no longer black, but ashy, dusty and almost white. Check out their knees and legs. It looks like Jordan has tights on his legs. So much to discover.
I love this! The full page photo makes it extra awesome. Reminds me of my DH - he grew up in the desert just like this outside Las Vegas, NV... so many hours spent trying to catch lizards! Such a great way to grow up.
What an great page - love the big photo and your journaling is great! Man, to have the desert as a backyard to explore - how awesome is that?! A kid's playground - physically and mentally for sure. Thanks for participating in the challenge!
