@Tangie - I did your 10 elements from 10 different kits challenge, and I have to say, it was hard at first, but then all of the sudden the theme came - and my mind actually knew what to pick! It was weird!!!! I absolutely LOVE the end product!! You really opened my eyes with this lesson, and I will defintely do this again and again!
I didn't know if I could duplicate things (I duplicated the stars for a total of 4 clusters) and I counted the background as an element and wasn't sure if the background was a freebie or not.
1. Quirky Hearts M3 Sept 14 "Stars Can't Shine without Darkness"
2. Little Butterfly Wings "M3 Jan 18 Add-on" - small blue flower
3. Kristen Aagard "After the Rain" - Butterfly
4. Etc by Danyale "Everyday Brave" "Be Brave, Have Courage, Love Life"
5. Studio Basic "Laugh Often" blue paper flower
6. Little Butterfly Wings "M3 Sept 14 Journal Cards (Same kit as QH. but totally different designer)
7. Little Butterfly Wings "M3 April 17" Stars clusters
8. Little Butterfly Wings "Carpe Diem" Stitching of Carpe Diem
9. LIttle Butterfly Wings "Treasured" Couple sketch
10. Studio Basic "Everyday Brave" background paper.
Love how you documented the process and found the trick of picking a theme -s much great mixed media stuff here - the stitching is a real feature to me and it really enhances the doodle and font work too!
I'm with Justine, the sewing adds so much, the stars are so perfect and I could almost hear the music. I know they're just hugging but to me they were dancing in the stars. Marvelous job here!!
