I don't know the game you have pictured or described but I'm sorry your plans didn't go to plan, 2 wks is a massive delay & it sounds like a very costly and scrambled solution and a memorable trip, hopefully not all for the wrong reasons!
@bellbird 10 Days in the USA (there are other continent ones, too) is a geography based board game my daughter grew up with. When we talked about her travels and travails on that trip, it was a natural connection to talk about the game and the machinations it requires to "take a trip" when playing. She got home with a 26 hour delay (this was Christmas 2022)! And was a good sport and made the trip again this year (in a much more organized fashion.) LOL! Thanks!
