Almost every time we return home from a trip via I-90, we are coming from sunshine, and welcomed home by horrible gray skies and rain. It was particularly bad coming home from Montana in October of 2019 after visiting Aunt Shirley. Not only was the rain extra heavy, but splash from other cars made it feel like we were surfing. (Tag: Road work near Libby resulted in the Venza getting dirtier than it has ever been, and the Snoqualmie rain didn't rinse it clean!)
