These are a few more photos from Koda's photo shoot in March 2021. There is a story behind each of these.
1. The GUAM photo - Shelby's husband is from Guam, he was born there, came to KC when he was about 5/6. He still has quite a bit of family there but most of his immediate family is here in KC, MO. So this was a tribute to his Guam roots.
2. The Bear photo. So Koda is named after a bear in the Disney movie, Brother Bear. It is Shelby's hubby's favorite Disney movie and he picked the name. So this was a fun Bear set up.
3. The KC Chiefs set up! Shelby's hubby is all about the KC Chiefs and he was tickled that the photographer had a set up to do this.
Basically these are of her hubby's favorites! Oh, Koda's middle name is also the same as his Daddy and 3 of his Uncles. It's a family tradition that the boys middle name is passed down from elders (grandfathers etc)...and well BAO is the middle name going back to her hubby's great-great grandfather.
