I met Robyn through my friend Kay. Robyn and Kay became friends when Brianna and Mandana were age 4 or so. About 8 years ago, Robyn developed breast cancer. I remember praying for her. Although the breast cancer subsided, the cancer started re-appearing in other parts of her body. About two years ago, Robyn and Mandana started attending our church, where I got to know her. This past January she started two prayer groups at church. It was through this that I learned what a Prayer Warrior Robyn was. Although cancer was killing her, she was always hopeful, always confident in God’s ability to heal her, always caring for others, always praying for others, always taking time for others. Her love for God, Christ, and others was so evident to all that knew her. Sadly, Robyn lost her battle to cancer on September 13, 2018. We attended the funeral on September 22. The number of people there was overwhelming, as was the fondness and love poured out in her memory. Her husband gave her eulogy, sweet memories of the life and love they shared. Her daughter Mandana sang and played her ukulele. Mac preached the Gospel as we celebrated her life here on earth and her new life in heaven for all eternity. I am glad to have known you, glad to have loved you. You will be greatly missed but someday we will sing “Glory to the King” together in heaven to the King, our God.
Such a loving and beautiful tribute to your friend Bev, I am so sorry for your loss. xx Your page design is stunning, adding so much beauty to an already beautiful photo! Gorgeous work!
