I love this, Shar. I can relate to your mom and your grandma, even if your grandma died with you being so young. I had a grandma who I adored and she moved across the country when I was almost 16 to live with my uncle. It nearly broke my heart. I was around her to make up my mind that if I was ever a grandmother, that I was going to be like her.
Awww! YAY! I can relate to some of this - but in a different order - both of my grandmothers were . . . well . . .difficult to be around, but I have an amazing MIL who LOVES my kiddos, even if we are far away - and I look forward to being a Gramma in the not so distant anymore future (eek!)
