Wow! That is some gorgeous tomato. But I have to tell you, at first glance I thought it was a pumpkin. Creatively framed with your white stitching. :-)

I thought it was a pumpkin.
You're not the first! We planted heirloom tomatoes from seeds I'd saved last fall. Heirlooms can turn out to be very odd shapes and colors, but another lesson in life: Don't judge the book by the cover. They are so SWEET and FLAVORFUL compared to other tomatoes (even "organic"), that it's like they're a whole different fruit. Once you've tasted them, there's no going back. The big drawback is the price. But I'd rather pay $4 for an awesome tomato than 50 cents for one that is just pretty.

@SharLamb I agree totally. My MIL does heirloom plants. Even heirloom flowers smell so much better.

Now THAT's a tomato! Although I, too, originally thought it was a pumpkin (Halloween on the brain I guess). I love the stitching around it and the moons?? circling in the background.

Bwahaha pages load slowly on my phone sometimes & I think you made the spookiest tomato page I've ever seen, hands down! There's definitely something in the water at you place or you have the best green thumbs around!
