How I love the Travelers notebook size. I am doing 10x10 pages for a book of the duty stations growing up (digitizing all my mom's photos, one base at a time) I started with ADAK, Alaska because it was all of our favorite. I have 4 pages done using Sabrina's newest Traveler's NOtebooks Set 5 as the base. I copied a few of her photo areas. No other product used except the photos!
AAAH! Anne, this is fan-freaking-tastic! Love the way you used the photo as your background, but then managed to get all those individual shots to stand out with their edge strokes and shadows. My mom gave me all the boxes of all the photos from 1956 on, in order to digitize them, and they're just sitting in my studio closet... I need so so so desperately to pull them out and start scanning, and then to start scrapping, but I feel overwhelmed every time I think about it. I've got them all sorted by duty station already (my Dad was Army - which branch of service was yours?) so I guess I'm partway there... You've totally got me inspired to get going again!
@angiekey - my mom finally moved from California to my little town here in New Mexico. She bought a house 1 mile from me!!! I am so happy...
anyways, I am going to be doing a series of blogposts next month on my lazy way of making a book (11 pages in one weekend).
My Dad was Navy! I started with my favorite duty station...so fun. I am popping the draft pages on Facebook and getting friends and my mom to add journaling and quotes!
please please link me when you get a page uploaded! I am excited to inspire and hoping lol to finish tomorrow to get my 8x8 free book from Shutterfly!
