Our gift to Beckett for his 9th birthday, was taking him to Wings Over Washington on the Seattle waterfront. Since his birthday is January 11, we had to wait until the weather cooperated, and all three of us were free. It was a nice day--not hot, not raining, and no huge crowds. Despite de-construction of the old viaduct, we found parking close to our destination, and walking to the different venues was pretty easy. We had lunch at Red Robin before climbing the “Harbor Steps” to get to Post Alley, and The Gum Wall. Beckett was a delight. He clearly enjoyed the time with us as much as we did with him, and expressed his appreciation.
