Journaling reads:

William Henry Winter would know Caythorpe today were he alive. The first picture in the third row and last in the bottom are the same building, just no longer a pub. The High Street, next look much the same as below. The next picture is the school built in 1832, the year he was born, that he attended. It is now a house. The Rectory has a new coat of plaster, but Saint Vincent’s has not changed noticeably in centuries
