My prayers go out to all who live down in the Los Angeles area. I'm worried about my son who lives down there, and of course there are many friends and family members of people all around me who reside in southern California. The devastation is just incomprehensible. We have seen it first-hand here in Oregon, but it's usually in the rural areas. Same kind of acreage involved, just not as densely populated so fewer people impacted. Still devastating. I had a weird interaction while getting my tires rotated this week. My ears perked up when a couple mentioned they were from Paradise, CA. They had lost everything in the Camp Fire, which also hit close to home since I had lived on Beale AFB in the 80s. Things are tough all over with so many still homeless and struggling from the hurricanes. Still trying to figure out where I want to send donations to help. My company has an emergency relief fund for employees impacted by natural disasters, so that might be the route.
Anyway, wanted to make sure I documented this in the Project Life album.

@Angela Toucan Ha! You noticed! And thank you, my son is okay! I have to follow him on Instagram to know this for sure, but he is posting from home, so I know he's safe.
