My TV has been blaring with updates on this virus that has taken the entire world by surprise. It has made me realize that we are all far more connected than I ever thought. I am seeing that good things are still happening in our world despite all this chaos.
May I suggest another good one? A thank you card. A thank you card to everyone you see serving – you could hand to them (ok, toss from 6 ft away lol) or email, mail or Facebook messenger if you know them personally. Be creative and think outside the norm!
So many of us are blessed to just chill at home in order to stay safe during this outbreak but we need to be oh so grateful to those who are working in vital fields that keep our society functioning but leave them exposed. This is not only health care workers on the front line, but a ton of others such as: mail, Fed Ex, grocery store workers, pastors encouraging their flocks, gas stations, Uber drivers, first responders, sanitation workers, pharmacy staff and so forth!
While the rest of us stay all tucked away, these faithful few are taking the risk daily to keep our fridges and pantries stocked, make sure we have the medications we need and our electricity on. Some of these services are in such high demand, they are even hiring!
The phrase, not all heroes wear capes has been popping up more and more and it has brought up a deep thankfulness in my heart. Some heroes need masks but don’t have them, some do errands for those who can’t and some just share their toilet paper with their neighbor!
So below, I made a thank you card that you can print off your self and give (personally or digitally) to anyone you see that needs one :) For this project I used Thankful Heart Template
and March Storyteller 2020
Thank you all!
