Pocket Scrapping Out of Order: Tip 4 & 5
Hey scrappers, Polly Jewelle here! Today I have a two more tips in our pocket scrapping out of order series to share with you. Now what week were these dates? Those are just a few of the questions that can leave you confused when pocket scrapping. Hybrid Pocket Letters
Hybrid Pocket LettersIn the world of pocket scrapping there is a new trend - pocket letters. Pocket letters are a wonderful mix of pocket scrapbooking and artist trading cards. The idea is to send a pocket page filled with all sorts of little trinkets to a friend or swap partner. It's a fun way to send happy mail. Pocket letters can be adapted across many genres including pocket scrapbooking, planning, art, mixed media, and even pen pals. The possibilities are endless. The letters can be random or themed and the pockets can contain anything from cards to embellishments and ephemera. Here are a few of the hybrid pocket letters that I have created for a recent swap. I put my own hybrid twist on pocket letters by printing journal cards from the new Just Jaimee and Mommyish Real Life in Pockets Collection - Besties. I simply resized the journal cards, in a photo editing software, to … [Read more...]

Hi, everyone! Sarah here with another installment of Simply Hybrid. This month I'm going to show you a few different steps I added to a journaling card for one of my Snap! Album pages. This page is about getting stuff done and the little window of optimism I have every morning. Real Life in Pockets: Domesticated by Just Jaimee and Mommyish was the perfect kit for capturing this part of my every day.For this first card I just used the card as is and added my journaling on the computer. I love that I have this Heather Joyce font of my handwriting.Next I just added a couple of arrows, the red stamped one I added digitally, the yellow one I printed, cut out and added to the card after it was printed. For this one I added a couple of banners to the top right corner. The orange one I used as … [Read more...]
