I'm excited to welcome Jana McCarthy out of designing retirement for this month's collaboration- Another Year! 

As September continues, my thoughts drift to the upcoming year's end and seasonal changes, the add-on's autumnal colors help welcome this season of introspection and thankfulness. Red-orange, yellow, yellow-orange, green, teal, violet and bits of indigo are accented by greige, kraft, white and pops of black to bring the Autumn season to life this month.  Watercolor painted floral paper mixes with on-trend messy stripes and plaid, along with polka dots, ticking stripes, herringbone, chevron, stamped hearts and stencilled letter backgrounds.

Two papers that really stand out are both gradients- one is orange, yellow and white and reminiscent of candy corn, the other is purple tones in a radiating pattern from dark violet to the palest lilac. The solids this month are subtly watercolored with messy drips and drops- perfect for this season of wind-blown leaves and crisp air.  The alpha is a hand-drawn style, including uppers, lowers and numbers.

Texture is key in the element pack- many chipboard pieces will add depth to your projects, while cork and burlap help continue the autumn theme. Hand-painted florals mix with hand-drawn doodles to compliment your pages. Barnwood elements and painted scatters combine for interest and the sense of time passing quickly as the year comes to a close.

Warm shades of pink, peach, coral and yellow are cooled off with aqua, mint and turquoise while both the warm and cool colors pop against white and woodgrain.

For May, this month's collab kit guest designer is Pink Reptile Designs. 

We created a kit to document the boys in your life, as well as the moments that make you say, "Oh boy!"  but don't be discouraged - this kit can be used for girls as well!

 Subtle tan and kraft are accented by pops of orange, lime green, teal, royal blue and a hint of evergreen.

This kit is loaded down with  33 papers, ranging from classic ledger, grid and woodgrain patterns, to hand-drawn boy-and-girl doodles and multicolored stars. Each solid paper has been given a painted look, with just enough grunge around the edges to add that touch of dimension many digital scrapbookers love.
