Hello everyone! It’s Polly Karen here bringing you the latest installment of challenges at the Pad. Once again the Challenge Pollys have come up with 7 all new and fabulous challenges for your scrapping enjoyment. Without further delay, let’s get to those challenges!
1. Product Challenge – This month’s product challenge is brought to you by Julie (mrs2a50). She wants you to create a page that includes something about fall like a leaf, branch or fall flower. She also want you to use fall colors like red, orange, yellow and/or brown. Your finished Fall page should be uploaded to the Product Challenge Gallery. Here’s is a sample page by Julie:
2. Scraplift Challenge – Renee (renee82) is hosting this month’s scraplift challenge and she picked the wonderful Kimpson’s gallery for you to scraplift from. You pick a page from her gallery and create a new page inspired by her page and then post your page in the Scraplift Challenge Gallery. Here is the page Renee chose to lift:

3. Template Challenge – Dana is your host for this month’s template challenge. Amy Martin created yet another fabulous and free template for you to use too. Your LOs using this template should be uploaded to the Template Challenge Gallery. Here is Amy’s template (image linked to the store):

4. Random Challenge – Heather (HeatherB) is hosting this month’s Random Challenge and she wants you to play with fonts. She wants you to mix at least 5 Serif and Sans Serif fonts somewhere on your page. She has some great links in the forum to get you started with fonts too. Your mixed-font pages should be uploaded to the Random Challenge Gallery. Here’s a fun sample page from Heather to get you started:
5. Journaling Challenge – Heather (talktoheather) is hosting this month’s journaling challenge. She is challenging you to pick a noun (person or thing) and then write a letter to them/it and tell them/it why you love it. Your layout/letter should be uploaded to the Journaling Challenge Gallery. Here’s a sample page by Heather to get you started:
6. One Word Challenge – This month’s One Word Challenge is brought to you by Amanda (MandaKay). She wants you to focus on the word Cozy this month. Your Cozy pages should be uploaded to the One Word Challenge Gallery. Here’s is a cozy sample page by Amanda:
7. BYOC Challenge – Last but certainly not least is the BYOC Challenge. This challenge will be posted tomorrow when the new BYOC (Build Your Own Collab) collection is released in the store. The designers have created another amazing stash of new BYOC products that you aren’t going to want to miss! For the Challenge, you need to use 90% of the items on your page from the new BYOC collection and you must use items from at least 3 different designers. Your BYOC pages should be uploaded to the BYOC Challenge Gallery.
You have until October 31st to complete this month’s batch of challenges to earn yourself a coupon (2 pages = 10%, 4 pages = 20% and 6 pages = 30%). You can see all of the details for each of the 7 challenges in the October Challenge Forum. If you have any questions you can see the Challenge Guidelines Thread and ask questions there. Once you complete a challenge make sure you post your pages in the individual challenge threads and most importantly, post them in the Challenge Layouts Thread so we can keep track of your participation and get you the correct coupon at the end of the month!
