Today is Zero Tasking Day!! According to the Time and Date website: How to Celebrate? Do nothing and just relax. So far, I've taken that pretty much to heart today! I had to work and then go to a wedding Friday night, then clean house and do trick-or-treating with my kids and grandbabies last night. My granddaughter spent the night and we went out to brunch today, but other than that, I've been pretty do-less. I do need to edit some photos that I took at the wedding and finish up a little laundry...maybe... Are you enjoying a zero tasking day or are you actually being productive?
Zero tasking day is now my new favorite holiday - thank you for spreading the word! I woke up SO SORE today from spending all yesterday digging holes and planting bulbs in the garden. I definitely took it easy today. I did not have much choice because I hurt all over! I did bake some bread and make leek + potato soup so that the family wouldn’t starve. But I also spent several hours reading The Castle of Otranto (apparently the first Gothic novel ever written) and just chilling with the cats.
I delivered about 75 packages on my job as postal carrier. I do "Amazon Sundays," which is the USPS taking care of a bunch of Amazon deliveries.
OMG.. too funny, today it was one of those days that I accomplished a lot LOL!!!! not my normal. LOL!!
Sorry you are so sore, but it sounds like a lovely day!! And thanks for reminding me that I need to add potato soup to my menu plans now that it's cooling off Hope the soreness wears off soon!!
I walked very far today - and then the kids came over for dinner and a movie. I walked farther than I ever have, so I may be sore tomorrow, too.
Not being productive at all....I was last night though as I got two job applications done. I tend to go in spurts of productivity depending on how well I slept basically.
I didn't know about the holiday but I seemed to participate anyway. I did go for a walk at least, but that was pretty much it. I had a list of things I wanted to accomplish, but I could not get motivated at all. Oh well!
Me too! I've tasked myself with completing each art piece begun before starting a new one. Got a lot done Saturday and yesterday. Today, NOT. Today should have been my Zero Task day- I was burnt out, LOL!
I stood in line outside the city-county building for 2 hours to vote... and then didn't do anything much else of consequence the rest of the day.
Sunday is usually my "rest" day...but I did help my hubby with music at church, taught Sunday school, ran, met friends at the park, and fed my kids all day. I did get some scrapping in. That's about as zero tasking as it gets around here.
i didn't even know this was a thing but i think i prefer the feeling of getting something crossed off a list, although some days that doesn't happen so i've probably been unintentionally zero tasking for a while!
