    Hey Scrappers! It’s Christmas in July time!

    For seven years I’ve vowed that I’m going to finish a DYD (Document Your December) album. Each year I spend hours taking pictures, writing down memories, and getting a few pages done in my album. But Christmas time is so busy that guess how many albums I have completed? ZERO! Raise your hand if you have that same problem? :wave

    The LilyPad’s Christmas in July sale is a perfect time to catch up on some of those past DYD pages! I challenge you to catch up on your past DYD albums by scrapping a minimum of TWO layouts for them. Two is the minimum but please feel free to challenge yourself to finish MORE layouts for your album. I’m excited to participate in this challenge and see if I can get a few pages done in my albums as well.

    Challenge Requirements:

    • Scrap a minimum of TWO layouts from past DYD using at least 75% TLP products.
    • Post your layouts in the Lilypad Gallery so we can leave lots of love!
    • Create one post in this thread documenting how many layouts you challenge yourself to complete. Edit your one post each time you add a completed layout. Be sure to link back to the gallery! (In the gallery, on the right of your image, you will find Share this Layout. Choose Share BB Code, and copy. Then paste into this thread.)
    This contest will close on Sunday, July 31st at 11:59PM EST. From the layouts submitted in this thread, one recipient will win a $5 Lilypad gift card!

    Here is my spot...

    I'm challenge myself to catch up on....deep breath...FOUR layouts. I also hope to share a process video of my catch up! Keep an eye out for that the beginning of next week.

    I'm with you on this, Jewelle! Despite doing a simple 4x4 DYD album for Christmas 2015, I still haven't managed to finish it. :blush *hangs head in shame.*

    This is my spot.

    I will be embarrassed if I can't manage to finish TWO pages of my 2015 4x4 by the 31st.

    Great idea for a challenge, Jewelle! You can do it!

    Document Your December (DYD) is all about documenting your December memories in some form, whether it's a hybrid mini-album or digital layouts. Some people scrap what happens each day in December, other people scrap memories or events.

    Every year, in addition to all the Christmas-themed products, we have a special Document Your December series where all the designers create products using the same colour palette (like BYOC, but for Christmas!).

    The kit needs to meet the typical challenge guidelines. They need to have 75% lilypad products. Check mommyish store and see if she has sold the kit here at the pad. If so it then yes you can use it.

    As note you do not have to use DYD products. It is just encouraged because they are holiday related and the are on sale right now too!

    It does! and now that I look, the kit I was talking about is included in the DYD sale!! I am good to go. I really, really want to finish those pictures! Thank you, @mrspotts

    Kristina - Love the clustering on those layouts! You are super fast!

    Annie - That is a big change from North Dakota to Texas for Christmas. A DYD is such a great way to document that! Beautiful pages!

    This is a really great challenge. I have completed 2012-2014 but last year's I didn't get to finish, all I really need are a few pages since after Dec. 15th my December became lame. I want to finish it eventually but now is not a good time. :(
