I love this technique too, but sometimes forget about it so it's great to see it spotlighted again on all these fabulous layouts! love! I did a quick peek and found a bunch in my gallery but here's two. One with scenery/landscape & one with people (but walking away from the lens) :
In A4, create one photo holder and position your photo. Flatten and then use the grid cutter to cut it up. Or use the straight cutter to cut it. Or create multiple photo spots and fill each with the same photo and adjust (typically the hard way to do it). In A5, you can group several independent shapes and use the outliner tool to create a new single shape that has multiple parts. Adjust the shape if needed (sometimes the outliner in A5 has trouble getting things straight), right-click, Convert the outliner to a Photo spot, drop in your photo and adjust as desired.
I love that look and don't do it often enough. Here's a palm tree that I split into thirds. I used a template for this one:
I love to do this .. with a template of Dawn Inskip pocket filler by Sabrina's Creations template by Sabrina's Creations
I'm loving all the examples! I did a few pages recently using this technique and I love the effect...and I'm on the team that gets a bad feeling about spliting people faces/body LOL!! using Dawn's template too: using frame to split the photo: with a big photo:
I am enjoying the variety of everyone's pages that I see here. Adding a few more that I recently did...
