Why It Works: Creative Framing

    I'm rarely a 'creative framer' preferring to have my photos with white or cream borders and a more artistic background. However I did find this one that uses the rest of the photo in sketch mode as the 'frame'. Ah to be in Italy again..(Turin here)

    This layout by @JenEm is probably one of my all-time favorites. Ever. I just adore the sentiment behind it. It's a fantastic example of creative framing.

    Looking at my gallery, I realize I use a stroke on photos almost all the time, so for the Nov 2017 challenges I created this LO for the random challenge and focused on also being more creative with my framing. The little frame is a different size than the photo and just placed on top. I find I really like the effect of the stitched frame collecting the papers and photos together. I've since swapped the yellow flower & blue button for better balance (funny how you notice those things after uploading). Thanks for the nudge to frame things a little differently!
