WEEK TWO-Border on Insanity {AJ Challenge}

I told you, it was going to border on insanity.

This week's skinny needs borders, on all 4 sides. You can use word art, feathers, actual borders, but frame it all in with borders.

I also would like to teach you how to outline without a stroke, an element, text or word art

When you are doing hands on art journaling you will see a lot of ink around bits of fun things on the page,
When you use the stroke on your digi page, it looks so precise and unnatural, so I like this little tutorial.

It is basically this:

Pick out an element you would like to color/stroke around
Make a new layer on top of that text,
Then pick a color for your brush - I like to find a subtle color from my page.
Then a small brush, I like the round point stiff (came with the program) I go about 60ish for the size
Paint liberally around the element without worrying if you are perfect or get some on the element.
Now take the layer you painted and move to under the text.
I like to play with the blend modes now, and usually find myself using multiply.

oh precious artists from the heart!! YOU have touched me so! I was pretty much off line most of the weekend, due to storms and life! at least life isn't having storms, the weather did! woo hoo
I logged on this morning to a full gallery of skinnies that brought me to smiles,and grins and most of all those happy tinglies that inspire to create also! Thank you for your enthusiasm and ability to pour your lives onto such a small canvas in such a huge way!
